Unarmed Security Officer - Downtown Atlanta, GA

Marksman Security Corporation is seeking Security Professionals for one of Atlanta’s premier Event & Convention venues with convenient access to the Peachtree Center Marta. Duties and job functions include Access Control, Emergency Response, Risk Management, Customer Service, Incident Reports, and Safety. The ideal candidate traits: exceptional people skills, professional image, attention to detail, takes ownership, committed to team success, outgoing, and driven.

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday (7:00a - 1:00p)

Positions include:

• Lobby Reception
• Brand Ambassador
• Guest Services
• Emergency Response

Our Officers:

• Professional appearance and ability to demonstrate superior customer service is a must.
• Prefer a minimum of one year of recent experience working as a certified security officer.

Requirements:

• 18 years of age and a high school diploma.
• Be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
• Be observant and alert at all times.
• Ability to address and enforce property rules and regulations according to property standards.
• Must have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, employees, and visitors.
• Ability to comprehend, execute policy & procedures, accept & respond to verbal & written instructions/directives.
• Demonstrate and maintain poise, self-confidence, make sound decisions, react quickly under stress, maintain self-control.
• Ability to prepare clear, concise, accurate reports (written & incident report software).
• Technology Skills: operate Access Control System, utilized a computer for incident reports, navigate/operate security software systems or applications, use email.

Certification Requirements:

• Ability to complete a 24 hour Basic Security Officer Training Course

Compensation:

• Wage: $12.00 per hour
• Paid holidays: x1.5 premium when worked
